A small selection of some of our recent and current projects.

Supported Living - Northumberland

Renovation of 8 x 1 Bedroom apartments in the North East ready for handover to our Supported Living Client on a long term lease.

Works included a New LD1 Alarm System, CCTV, Utility Reconfiguration, Fire Separation works and Fireproofing to meet change of use requirements.

We worked in partnership with the Council, Fire teams, Registered Provider and Care Provider.

Social Housing - North Yorkshire

Creation of a 2 bedroom property ready to lease to the Local Council to support a young tenant in her first home.

A full refurb from a dilapidated run down property into a warm inviting home to make her own.

We sourced the property for our client, secured an Empty Homes Grant, liaised with the council and tenant and completed all works in house.

Social Housing - South Shields

An initial poor person specification led to this property being developed for an individual who required a different level of care which was mis identified. Not a successful placement for anyone sadly.

However, in partnership with our local network we were able to pivot and renovate to suit a social housing charity who have now successfully placed a young guy this month.

It reflects the importance of a detailed person specification to ensure each facility is suitable to the needs of each tenant. One size does NOT fit all in Supported Living, but there are always options for good properties.

Supported Living - North East

We completed the re development of this old SEND Office into 10 x 1 bed apartments in September 2025. There is also an additional flat for 24/7 staff support.

This project is entirely our own work from Finding, Funding, Fixing and now completely filled at time of writing in December 2025.

Planning, design and the identification and management of all stakeholders has been delivered in house by NPG. Its a building we also own a share in so its close to our hearts and has been great fun to work on with a fantastic team in place.

Supported Living - North East

We have completed the construction phase of a bungalow development for a lovely lady with mobility issues to enable her to leave hospital.

This project has required a specific property search and purchase with designs agreed with various stakeholders from Occupational Therapists to Social Workers to Care Professionals over Lifts, Hoists and Wetroom design amongst other things.

Completing all of this work at Pre Construction stage allowed for a smooth transition for the tenant and their care team. Enabling a gradual, planned integration with tenant involvement in layout and design of their new home. She is now settled in her new home!

Student HMO Building -York

Commencing Pre Con in July 2025 and with Construction beginning September 2025, we are currently delivering a 26 bed Student HMO Community building in York for one of our clients.

The site includes a 1720 Grade II Listed Building as well as a 1960's 2 storey office block, both of which are bringing their own challenges. However we are currently ahead of schedule and on budget, ready for opening in August 2026.

Working as both Main Contractor and Project Manager in partnership with the design and construction teams assembled by ourselves, NPG have a handle on every aspect of the project on behalf of our overseas client, treating the building and the project as if it was our own.
